Debbee & Mike McDonald- Owners

Debbee seemed destined from childhood to become a florist. It was while playing in the woods around her New England home that her creativity began to bud. Her floral career began in a Phoenix Flower Shop in 1968 and she has been serving the Payson Area since 1984. In 1993 she opened Finishing Touch Flowers and Gifts.

Debbee, her husband Mike and their two children made Payson, Arizona their home in 1984; there she continued her floral career.

Design competition at state and national levels has challenged Debbee to perfect her skills and expand her horizons. Her accomplishments include two Designer of the Year Awards in her first attempt!

With a great location and expanded lines of gifts and services the shop has developed into a One-Stop Place for weddings, providing not only flowers, but everything pertaining to weddings including small accessories, invitations, rental equipment and decorations, even new wedding gowns, tuxedo rentals, and limousine service!

Debbee's husband, Mike, enjoys the picturesque and pleasant drive up and down the highway, in luxury, transporting travelers to and from the Phoenix airport, throughout the "Rim Country" and beyond.

Debbee earned First Place at Phoenix Art Museum's 2010 Arts & Flowers Event. Sixty-five florists were invited to create a floral "interpretation" of a piece of art on display in the museum. The 6500 visitors and displays of fresh flower arrangements "virtually" bring the museum to life and help to keep it alive!
